Happy Wednesday, friends!
The temperature has taken a significant dip and it’s feeling like autumn. Autumn is my favourite season and always has been. I love the sights, smells, colours, and even drinking my pumpkin spice latte in my yoga pants and big sweater. And so, the autumn spirit has caught me early this year, and I’m working on an autumn wreath for the front door.
In case anyone would like to follow suit, the wreath itself is simply a dollar store wreath form with appropriately autumny yarn wrapped around it (the green bit at the bottom is just an abandoned project, added because my appropriately autumny yarn ran out and it was there), and below are links to the free patterns I’m using to do up the leaves and acorns and things (some of which I haven’t tried yet, let it be said):
Oak Leaves (note: they’re pretty big, but they’re also *perfect*)
And the project so far?
I’m super excited, it’s going to be the cutest thing ever!
Hope you’re all enjoying this wonderful weather, and that your early autumn crochet projects (am I the only one excited about sweaters and afghans?) are going smoothly.
Be happy, healthy, and safe!
