I’m usually pretty excited about whatever I’m working on at any given time, but I’m extra excited about this one:
See this lovely, slightly dog-hair-covered rectangle of dark blue goodness? This is the project I’m working on from all that lovely Caron yarn I got on sale a week or so back, and in a week or two it’s going to be a soft, warm, delightfully blue (and red and charcoal and black) belted wrap cardigan!
I’m in love with cardigans. My uniform, pre-child-rearing, was a long skirt and a cotton shirt and a cardigan. Now that I have a very active child who forces me to climb things and run after him and crawl under things, my uniform is jeans or leggings, a cotton shirt, and a cardigan. One day I will be old(er) and grey(er), and I’m not entirely sure what the rest of my daily uniform will be, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to involve a cardigan.
And this one is SO PRETTY AND SOFT. I’ll make this my pattern of the week in a few weeks once this gorgeous soft blue rectangle has become a gorgeous soft blue wrap cardigan, but in the meantime, I’ll be furiously crocheting and bouncing in happiness for how amazing this is going to be.
What are you working on this week?
Be happy, healthy, and safe!
